The Love Tank's Love Hub heads to Edinburgh!

We're leaving London! We're packing our bags, rolling up the flags, and jumping on the train to Edinburgh!

For two days only, The Love Tank joins forces with The University of Edinburgh's Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society for a one-off Love Hub special in Edinburgh.

The Love Hub has become an integral part of east London's queer Fringe! film festival, offering workshops, panels, and interactions for over seven years. Now, for the first time, The Love Hub takes its surprises out of London and to Edinburgh.

The Love Hub Edinburgh edition features six FREE events on themes that include activism, mutual-aid, care, performance, research, disability justice, abortion justice, and so much more.

Events take place at Pleasance Cabaret Bar, and Lighthouse - Edinburgh's Radical Bookshop.

Dr Will Nutland, Director at The Love Tank says: "The Love Hub was always devised as a travelling-circus but COVID stopped us in our tracks. Now, we're delighted to be working together to create an Edinburgh version of the Love Hub, with long standing colleagues from the city".

Dr Ingrid Young of The University of Edinburgh says: "We’re really pleased to be able to work with our community partners – from London and Scotland – to explore the issues that are important for all of us. We want this to be a space for folks to share, reflect and celebrate queer health and social justice ”

Dr Chase Ledin of The University of Edinburgh says: "The Love Hub Edinburgh will be a fantastic opportunity to work with our partners at The Love Tank, to explore queer health with Scottish communities, and to foreground innovative and collaborative approaches to health and wellbeing with communities as the starting point."

The Love Hub is part of a wider series of events organised by the Centre for Biomedicine Self and Society.

The full programme of FREE events happening on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 February can be viewed here.
