MPOX vaccination returns to UKBP

The Love Tank will once again be providing MPOX (monkeypox) vaccination at this weekend's UK Black Pride (UKBP).

For the third year running, vaccination will be provided in collaboration with NHS staff from Homerton Sexual Health and All East Sexual Health services. This year HPV vaccination will also be available.

Qaisar Siddiqui, Head of Community Mobilisation and Outreach at The Love Tank says: "We know that providing MPOX vaccination at events like UKBP gets the vaccine into the arms of people who might otherwise be missed by the routine vaccination programmes. MPOX and HPV remain an issue for our communities - especially in men who have sex with men."

Vaccination will be provided on a first come, first served basis, until available vaccines are used. There is no onsite booking system available. Vaccines are also available from most NHS sexual health clinics.
