The Love Tank launches new peer-drug programme
The Love Tank, in partnership with Antidote at London Friend, has launched a new pilot harm reduction programme for queer people using recreational drugs in east London.
Leo Pavam, Head of Development at The Love Tank says:
"In the first stage of the programme, The Love Tank is looking for queer people who attend chillouts and who live, work, study or socialise in Hackney to join a one-off discussion group. The groups will help to shape the pilot and how it progresses across the new year".
Ben Weil, Head of Research and Community Knowledge Generation at The Love Tank says:
"Research undertaken by The Love Tank shows that there's a need for more and different ways of talking with each other about drug harm reduction. This pilot is a direct outcome of that research, and will offer a new way of engaging with queer people attending chillouts on a peer-to-peer basis".
