The Love Tank develops sex worker community resource

The Love Tank, in collaboration with THORN and Sexifier, is calling out for participants with experience of sex work to help create a new health and wellbeing guide.

Three community in-person workshops are being held in east London during March 2025 to inform and create the content, as part of The Love Tank's Little Backpocket Guide Series.

Dr Ben Weil, Head of Research and Community Development at The Love Tank says:

"The workshops are for sex workers, or people with experience of sex work. The guide will seek to provide clear information to support people to navigate safer sex work including on sexual health, the law, and resources for support, solidarity and mutual aid".

An expansive and inclusion definition of sex work is being used for this programme. We include any form of selling sex or exchanging sex for goods.

The workshops are peer-lead and everyone taking part will receive £30 in cash.
